Samantha Sodaro
Head trainer/Founder
Sami has been passionate about animals her entire life. She graduated from the University at Buffalo, with a BS in Environmental Science concentrating in Animal Behavior. She found her passion for training throughout her career working for and learning from some of the best trainers in the industry. Entering the field as a dog daycare attendant she quickly fell in love with the holistic and compassionate approach of the trainers around her and worked her way up to a lead trainer. It was during this time that she developed her intense passion for understanding canine behavior and mastering the art behavioral rehabilitation through training. Sami has trained hundreds of dogs throughout her career and specializes in obedience, reactivity, aggression, and anxiety. She has a true love for learning and is always seeking out opportunities to expand her knowledge and better serve her clients.
At some point, you are likely to meet Sami's personal dogs, Juneau and Nola and her cat Frankie! Her dogs are both standard English Bull Terriers and they love to help with socialization, pass-bys for reactivity, and demonstrations to help give owners confidence in applying the skills they are learning on dogs who already know the behaviors. Frankie is her Sphynx cat who provides an irreplaceable aide in training dogs around distractions as well as helping them learn to coexist with their feline companions.
